A warm, spicy and sweet scent, clove is an antibacterial oil useful for respiratory complaints, (colds, asthma and bronchitis).
For oral hygiene: it is an excellent addition to a mouthwash, or used as an antiseptic.
Skin patch test prior to application. Dilute well with a carrier oil (this is a potent oil) prior to use for massage, bath, compress or diffuser, 1 drop neat on the gums for toothache.
Avoid use during pregnancy. Do not ingest and keep away from children.
